1 Timothy 1:16
Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
Simple English
But because of this, I received mercy so that Jesus Christ could first display his great patience through me, as an example for those who would follow and believe in him for eternal life.
