←Back to VersesThen Saul’s anger was kindled against Jonathan, and he said unto him, Thou son of the perverse rebellious woman, do not I know that thou hast chosen the son of Jesse to thine own confusion, and unto the confusion of thy mother’s nakedness?
Then Saul became very angry with Jonathan. He told Jonathan, "You son of a disobedient woman, don't you know that you chose David from the family of Jesse to bring shame upon yourself and your mother's shameful past?"
