←Back to VersesWherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD.
So when the time was right after Hannah became pregnant, she gave birth to a son and named him Samuel, because she had asked for him from the Lord.
