1 John 4:6
We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
Simple English
We are from God: if someone knows God, they listen to us; if someone isn't from God, they don't listen to us. This helps us tell the difference between the truth spirit and the wrong spirit.
