Volodymyr Zelenskyy

Volodymyr Zelensky (born January 25, 1978) is a Ukrainian politician, former actor, and comedian who has served as the sixth president of Ukraine since May 20, 2019. Zelensky rose to prominence as a comedian and actor, starring in the popular Ukrainian television series Servant of the People, in which he played a president who accidentally becomes the leader of Ukraine. This role seemingly foreshadowed his political career, as he later entered politics in real life. Zelensky's presidency has been marked by significant events, including the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian War, which escalated into a full-scale Russian invasion in February 2022. His leadership during this crisis has garnered international attention and support.
