Volodymyr Zelenskyy

Volodymyr Zelensky (Ukrainian: Володимир Зеленський, pronounced [woloˈdɪmɪr zeˈlɛnʲsʲkɪj]; born 25 January 1978) is a Ukrainian politician and former actor and comedian who has been serving as the sixth President of Ukraine since May 2019. Before his presidency, Zelensky was known for his acting career, particularly for his role in the television series Servant of the People, in which he played a president who accidentally becomes the leader of Ukraine. This role seemingly foreshadowed his real-life political career. Zelensky's presidency has been marked by significant events, including the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian War, which escalated into a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. His leadership during this crisis has garnered international attention and support. In Hebrew, his name is translated as וולודימיר זלנסקי. In Russian, it is Владимир Зеленский, and in Polish, it is Wołodymyr Zełenski.
