Stellarcore is a term used in astrophysics to describe the innermost region of a star, particularly the core of a star that is in the process of collapsing or has already collapsed. This region is characterized by extreme density and pressure, where nuclear fusion reactions occur, leading to the production of energy and heavier elements. The study of stellarcore is crucial for understanding stellar evolution, supernovae, and the formation of compact objects such as neutron stars and black holes. In Hebrew, the term can be translated as ליבת כוכב (litbat kokhav). In other languages, it may be referred to as noyau stellaire in French, stellarkern in German, and núcleo estelar in Spanish.
