Saraswati

Saraswati (Sanskrit: सरस्वती, Sarasvatī) is a prominent Hindu goddess who represents knowledge, music, arts, wisdom, and learning. She is also revered in Jainism and Buddhism. Often depicted as a beautiful woman dressed in white, symbolizing purity and peace, Saraswati is typically shown holding a veena (a musical instrument), a book (representing knowledge), and a rosary (symbolizing meditation and spirituality). In Hebrew, she is known as שרסוואטי. In Bengali, she is called শারদোৎসব (Sharodotsob), and in Tamil, she is referred to as சரஸ்வதி (Saraswati). Saraswati is part of the Trimurti, the great triad of Hindu deities, alongside Brahma and Vishnu. She is celebrated on Vasant Panchami, a festival that marks the preparation for the arrival of spring and the celebration of new beginnings and fertility. Saraswati's influence extends beyond religious contexts, as she is also a cultural icon representing the importance of education and the arts in Hindu society.
