Paris, often referred to as the City of Light (La Ville Lumière in French), is the capital and most populous city of France. Located on the River Seine, it is a global center for art, fashion, gastronomy, and culture, and is one of the world's leading business and diplomatic hubs. The city is known for its iconic landmarks, such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, and Notre-Dame Cathedral.
