Moonbased Zodiac

The Moon-based zodiac, also known as the lunar zodiac or Nakshatra in Sanskrit (Hebrew: זודיאק לוני), is an astrological system that divides the sky into 27 or 28 lunar mansions or Nakshatras, each corresponding to a specific segment of the Moon's orbital path. This system is primarily used in Hindu astrology (Jyotish) and, to a lesser extent, in other forms of Vedic astrology. In Hebrew, the term for lunar mansion is מנזר לוני. Each Nakshatra spans approximately 13 degrees and 20 minutes of the ecliptic, covering the entire 360-degree path of the Moon's orbit. The Moon-based zodiac is distinct from the more widely known Sun-based zodiac, which is divided into 12 signs corresponding to the 12 months of the solar year. In Hindu astrology, the Moon-based zodiac plays a crucial role in determining an individual's personality traits, life events, and compatibility with others. The system is also used for timing important events and rituals, as each Nakshatra is associated with specific deities, symbols, and qualities.
