Kaal Sarp Dosha

Kaal Sarp Dosha, also known as Kala Sarpa Dosha or Kaala Sarpa Yoga, is an astrological condition in Vedic astrology that occurs when all seven planets (excluding Rahu and Ketu) are hemmed between the lunar nodes Rahu and Ketu in a horoscope. The term "Kaal Sarp" translates to "Time Serpent" in English, with Kaal meaning "time" or "death" and Sarp meaning "serpent" in Sanskrit. In Hebrew, it can be translated as נחש הזמן (Nachash HaZman). This alignment is considered significant as it is believed to influence an individual's life in various ways, often associated with delays, obstacles, and challenges. There are different types of Kaal Sarp Dosha based on the position of Rahu and Ketu in the horoscope, and its effects are said to vary depending on the specific planetary configurations and the individual's overall birth chart. Remedies such as specific rituals, mantras, and charitable acts are often recommended to mitigate the perceived negative effects of this dosha.
