Their stories are celebrated in various cultural festivals and are deeply embedded in Chinese folklore. In Hebrew, the term can be translated as שמונה האלמוות (Shemona HaAlmavot). In Japanese, they are known as Hachijin (八仙), and in Korean, they are referred to as Palgan (팔관). The Eight Immortals are not only significant in religious contexts but also symbolize the ideals of longevity, wisdom, and moral integrity in Chinese culture.
