Cross Gematria

Cross gematria is a form of gematria, a system of Jewish mysticism that assigns numerical values to words or phrases based on the letters' positions in the Hebrew alphabet. Cross gematria, specifically, involves the comparison of the numerical values of words or phrases to find hidden connections or meanings. The term "cross" in this context refers to the intersection or comparison of different words or phrases, rather than the Christian symbol. In Hebrew, this concept is known as gematria matsuit (גימטריה מצוית) or gematria matsuit (גימטריה מצוית). This practice is often used in Kabbalah, the esoteric school of thought in Judaism, to uncover hidden aspects of religious texts. Similar practices exist in other cultures, such as the Greek isopsephy and the Arabic abjad numerology, which also assign numerical values to letters to find hidden meanings in words and phrases.
