Communism

A communist is a person who advocates or supports communism, a socioeconomic ideology and political movement that aims to establish a classless, stateless, and moneyless society based on common ownership of the means of production and the principle of "from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs." The term "communist" comes from the French word "communiste," which itself is derived from the Latin word "communis," meaning "common, public." In Hebrew, the term is translated as קומוניסט (Komunist). In Russian, it is коммунист (Kommunist), and in Spanish, it is comunista. Communists often seek to overthrow capitalism through revolution or other means, and they may advocate for the establishment of a dictatorship of the proletariat as an intermediate step towards achieving a communist society. Key historical figures associated with communism include Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, Vladimir Lenin, and Mao Zedong.
