About Birthchart

§ 02

A birthchart, also known as a natal chart, is a celestial map that represents the positions of the Sun, Moon, planets, and other significant astrological points at the exact moment and location of a person's birth. It is a fundamental tool in astrology, used to gain insights into an individual's personality, strengths, weaknesses, and life path. The birthchart is typically depicted as a circular wheel divided into twelve houses, each representing different aspects of life, such as relationships, career, and personal growth. The zodiac signs and planetary placements within these houses provide a detailed blueprint of a person's astrological profile. In Hebrew, a birthchart is referred to as תיאור שמי לידה (tiur shami leida). In Spanish, it is called carta natal, and in French, it is known as thème astral. The birthchart is a static snapshot of the heavens at the time of birth, offering a unique perspective on an individual's potential and life experiences.
