An agenda is a list of meeting activities in the order they are to be taken up, by the person who leads the meeting. It may include one or more business items, the subject matter of each item, and the order in which each item is to be taken up. The process of setting an agenda is often known as agenda-setting. The process for doing so is often more or less formalized, frequently outlined in the bylaws of the body in question. It may refer to a list of topics to be discussed at a meeting. In the context of public policy, an agenda can refer to a list of issues that a government or other public body is actively addressing or plans to address. The term "hidden agenda" refers to a list of issues that may be addressed in a meeting, but which are not disclosed to all participants. In Hebrew, "agenda" is translated as סדר היום (seder hayom). In Spanish, it is orden del día, in French ordre du jour, and in German Tagesordnung.
