Israel, officially known as the State of Israel (Hebrew: מְדִינַת יִשְׂרָאֵל, Medīnat Yisrā'el; Arabic: دَوْلَة إِسْرَائِيل, Dawlat Isrāʼīl), is a country in Western Asia.
