Zodiacwheel

The zodiac wheel, also known as the zodiac circle or zodiac chart, is a circular diagram that represents the twelve signs of the zodiac, each corresponding to a specific segment of the sky as the Sun appears to move through it during the year. This concept originates from ancient astronomy and astrology, with roots tracing back to Babylonian astronomy and later developed by Greek and Hellenistic astrologers. The zodiac wheel is divided into twelve equal parts, each representing a constellation or sign: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. In Hebrew, the zodiac wheel is referred to as גלגל המזלות (galgal hamazalot). The zodiac wheel is a fundamental tool in astrology, used to map the positions of celestial bodies and interpret their influences on human affairs and natural phenomena. It is also integral to various cultural and spiritual practices, symbolizing the cyclical nature of time and the cosmos. In Spanish, it is called rueda zodiacal, and in French, roue zodiacale.
