Yue Zhongqi (Chinese: 岳忠琪; pinyin: Yuè Zhōngqí; born 1963) is a Chinese computer scientist and academician specializing in computer architecture and parallel processing. He is a professor at the School of Computer Science and Technology at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and has made significant contributions to the development of high-performance computing in China. Yue Zhongqi's research focuses on areas such as computer architecture, parallel algorithms, and high-performance computing systems. His work has been instrumental in advancing China's capabilities in supercomputing, contributing to projects like the Tianhe-2, one of the world's fastest supercomputers. In Hebrew, his name can be transliterated as יוא ז'ונגצ'י, and in Japanese, it can be written as ユエ・チョンチ (Yue Chonchi). Yue Zhongqi's contributions have earned him numerous accolades, including election as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2017.
