Verdandi

Verdandi (Old Norse: Vǫrǫndi) is one of the three Norns in Norse mythology, often depicted as the Norn of the present. She is associated with the weaving of the present, alongside Urd (the past) and Skuld (the future). The name Verdandi is derived from the Old Norse verb verða, meaning "to become" or "to happen," reflecting her role in the ongoing events of the world. In Hebrew, the name can be translated as ורדנדי (Verdandi). In other languages, she is known as Verdandi in German, Verdandi in Italian, and Verdandi in Spanish. Verdandi's role in Norse mythology is crucial as she, along with her sisters, shapes the fate of both gods and mortals, embodying the inexorable flow of time and the interconnectedness of past, present, and future.
