The Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB), originally known as the Vertical Assembly Building, is a large building at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, USA. It is one of the largest buildings in the world by volume and was designed to assemble large space vehicles, including the Saturn V rocket for the Apollo program and the Space Shuttle. The VAB is a key part of the space center's infrastructure, providing a controlled environment for the assembly and maintenance of spacecraft. In Hebrew, it is known as בניין הרכבת חלליות, while in Spanish, it is referred to as Edificio de Ensamblaje de Vehículos, and in French, it is called Bâtiment d'assemblage de véhicules. The building's distinctive appearance, with its high bay doors and towering structure, makes it a recognizable landmark in the landscape of the Kennedy Space Center.
