Vedic Planetary Strength

This concept is crucial for predicting events and understanding an individual's life path based on the planetary positions at the time of birth. The strength of a planet is determined by several factors, including its position in the zodiac, its relationship with other planets, and its placement in specific houses or signs. Key indicators of planetary strength include Drekkāṇa (trine division), Navāṃśa (ninth division), and Bhāva (house strength). In Sanskrit, the term for planetary strength can also be translated as Graha Balam. Understanding Vedic planetary strength helps astrologers make accurate predictions and provide insights into various aspects of a person's life, such as health, career, and relationships.
