Ruach

Ruach (Hebrew: רוח) is a Hebrew word that has a wide range of meanings depending on the context. Primarily, it translates to wind, spirit, or breath. In the Hebrew Bible, ruach is often used to describe the breath or spirit of God, as well as the wind. The term is also used in modern Hebrew to refer to the spirit or mood of a person or group, as well as the spirit of a place or thing. In Kabbalah, the mystical tradition of Judaism, ruach is one of the three parts of the human soul, along with nefesh and neshamah. The word ruach has been translated into other languages such as Arabic as rūḥ (روح) and Greek as pneuma (πνεῦμα).
