This concept is rooted in the idea that God's infinite light is too intense for finite beings to comprehend directly, and thus it is hidden or veiled. The term is often used to explain the mysteries of creation and the divine presence in the world. In other languages, the concept is translated as Luz oculta in Spanish, Lumière cachée in French, and Verborgenes Licht in German. The hidden light is believed to be revealed only to those who are spiritually prepared and pure, often through deep study, prayer, and righteous living. This concept is integral to understanding the deeper layers of Jewish mysticism and the nature of the divine in relation to the physical world.
