Graha Alignment

Graha alignment refers to the astronomical phenomenon where the planets (grahas) of the Solar System align in a straight or somewhat straight line, as viewed from a particular vantage point, such as Earth. In Hindi, it is known as ग्रह संरेखण (Graha Sanrekhan), and in Sanskrit, it is referred to as ग्रह संरेखण (Graha Samrekhana). The term "graha" originates from Sanskrit and means "seizing, laying hold of, holding," and in astrological contexts, it refers to the planets. Alignments can involve any number of planets and can occur in various configurations, such as conjunctions, oppositions, or other angular relationships. These alignments are often studied in both astronomical and astrological contexts, with astronomers focusing on the physical and mathematical aspects, while astrologers may attribute symbolic or mystical significance to these events. Notable alignments include the rare event where several planets gather closely in the sky, sometimes referred to as a "planetary parade."
