In Hebrew, the term is translated as המדינה העמוקה (HaMedina HaAmuka). In Turkish, where the term originated, it is known as derin devlet. The concept has gained significant attention in political discourse, particularly in discussions about government transparency, accountability, and the influence of unelected officials. Critics argue that the idea of a Deep State is often used to undermine trust in democratic institutions, while proponents claim it highlights the need for greater oversight and reform.
