Deep State

In Hebrew, the term is often translated as המדינה העמוקה (haMedina haAmuka), while in German it is known as Tiefer Staat, and in French as État profond. The idea of a Deep State has gained prominence in various political contexts, particularly in discussions about government transparency, accountability, and the role of unelected officials in shaping policy. Critics argue that the concept is often used to promote conspiracy theories or to delegitimize political opponents, while proponents contend that it highlights real concerns about the concentration of power within bureaucratic and elite circles.
