Akashic records

The Akashic records (from the Sanskrit word ākāśa, meaning "aether" or "sky"), also known as the Book of Life, are a compilation of all knowledge and events ever to have occurred, past, present, or future, believed by some to be encoded in a non-physical plane of existence. The concept originates from ancient Hindu, Buddhist, and Gnostic traditions, where the akashic records are considered a cosmic library of all human events, thoughts, words, emotions, and intent that have ever occurred in the past, present, or future. In Hebrew, the term is often translated as ספר החיים (Sefer HaChayim), meaning "Book of Life." Similar concepts exist in various cultures, such as the Tzolkin in Mayan tradition, the Akasha Chronicle in German esotericism, and the Annals of the Akashic Chronicle in Russian esoteric literature. The records are said to be accessible through certain meditative or trance states, allowing individuals to gain insight into their past lives, present circumstances, and potential future paths. The idea has been popularized in New Age spirituality and various metaphysical belief systems, where it is often associated with concepts of karma, reincarnation, and the interconnectedness of all things.
