Chapter 16

KJV - Numbers 16:2

And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:

Then, many leaders appeared in front of Moses, along with some Israelites. These were 250 important people from the group, well-known in the community, and widely respected.
