KJV - Luke 5:19

And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.

When they couldn't find a way to bring him to Jesus due to the large crowd, they carried him onto the roof, then lowered him through the tiles and his bed right in front of Jesus.
