But Herod the tetrarch, being reproved by him for Herodias his brother Philip’s wife, and for all the evils which Herod had done,

But Herod, who ruled over a fourth of Israel, was scolded by Jesus for marrying his brother Philip's wife, Herodias, and for all the bad things he did.
