And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.
The people watched in silence. The leaders joined them, making fun of him. They said, "He saved others, but can't save himself. If he is truly Christ, the chosen one from God, let him prove it."
