Chapter 3

KJV - Jeremiah 3:3

Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; and thou hadst a whore’s forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.

So, the rain stopped coming, and the final rain didn't come either. You had a shameless appearance and didn't feel embarrassed about it.
