Isaiah 48:5
←Back to VersesI have even from the beginning declared it to thee; before it came to pass I shewed it thee: lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath commanded them.
From the start, I told you this would happen; before it occurred, I showed it to you. This was so you wouldn't say that your idol made them do it or that your carved image or metal statue commanded them.
