Urges believers to stand firm in the freedom Christ has given and not return to the law for salvation.

Chapter 5

KJV - Galatians 5:17

For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

The body desires go against the Spirit, and the Spirit goes against the body. They are opposites, so you can't do what you want.
