Back to ChaptersKJV - Exodus 22:3 If the sun be risen upon him, there shall be blood shed for him; for he should make full restitution; if he have nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft. If the sun rises on someone who stole something, they must pay for what they took or face being sold to cover their theft if they can't pay otherwise.
