←Back to VersesAnd mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.
Mount Sinai was covered in smoke since God came down in fire. The smoke rose like that from a big furnace, and the entire mountain shook a lot.
