←Back to VersesYet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.
I destroyed the powerful Amorites in front of them. They were as tall as big cedar trees and strong like oak trees. But I wiped out their fruits up high and their roots below.
