Chapter 24

KJV - 2 Samuel 24:9

And Joab gave up the sum of the number of the people unto the king: and there were in Israel eight hundred thousand valiant men that drew the sword; and the men of Judah were five hundred thousand men.

Joab told the king the total count of the brave fighters in Israel: 800,000 from Israel and 500,000 from Judah who could all use their swords well.
