←Back to VersesAnd Elijah answered and said unto them, If I be a man of God, let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And the fire of God came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.
Elijah told them, "If I am truly a person of God, let fire fall from the sky and destroy you and your fifty followers." Then, fire from God fell and destroyed him and his fifty followers.
