Tells about Samuel, the last judge, and the beginning of Israel's monarchy with King Saul and young David.

Chapter 25

KJV - 1 Samuel 25:3

Now the name of the man was Nabal; and the name of his wife Abigail: and she was a woman of good understanding, and of a beautiful countenance: but the man was churlish and evil in his doings; and he was of the house of Caleb.

Now, the man's name was Nabal, and his wife's name was Abigail. She was smart and had a lovely appearance. But Nabal was grumpy and did bad things. He came from the family of Caleb.
