KJV: So king Solomon was king over all Israel.

Geneva: And King Salomon was King ouer all Israel.

KJV: And these were the princes which he had; Azariah the son of Zadok the priest,

Geneva: And these were his princes, Azariah the sonne of Zadok the Priest,

KJV: Elihoreph and Ahiah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder.

Geneva: Elihoreph and Ahiah the sonnes of Shisha scribes, Iehoshaphat the sonne of Ahilud, the recorder,

KJV: And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the host: and Zadok and Abiathar were the priests:

Geneva: And Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada was ouer the hoste, and Zadok and Abiathar Priests,

KJV: And Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers: and Zabud the son of Nathan was principal officer, and the king’s friend:

Geneva: And Azariah the sonne of Nathan was ouer the officers, and Zabud the sonne of Nathan Priest was the Kings friend,

KJV: And Ahishar was over the household: and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the tribute.

Geneva: And Ahishar was ouer the houshold: and Adoniram the sonne of Abda was ouer the tribute.

KJV: And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, which provided victuals for the king and his household: each man his month in a year made provision.

Geneva: And Salomon had twelue officers ouer all Israel, which prouided vitailes for the King and his housholde: eche man had a moneth in the yeere to prouide vitailes.

KJV: And these are their names: The son of Hur, in mount Ephraim:

KJV: Baana the son of Ahilud; to him pertained Taanach and Megiddo, and all Bethshean, which is by Zartanah beneath Jezreel, from Bethshean to Abelmeholah, even unto the place that is beyond Jokneam:

Geneva: Baana the sonne of Ahilud in Taanach, & Megiddo, & in all Beth-shean, which is by Zartanah beneath Izreel, from Beth-shean to Abelmeholah, eue til beyond ouer against Iokmeam:

KJV: The son of Geber, in Ramothgilead; to him pertained the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh, which are in Gilead; to him also pertained the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, threescore great cities with walls and brasen bars:

Geneva: The sonne of Geber in Ramoth Gilead, & his were the townes of Iair, the sonne of Manasseh, which are in Gilead, and vnder him was the region of Argob, which is in Bashan: threescore great cities with walles & barres of brasse.

KJV: Ahimaaz was in Naphtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon to wife:

Geneva: Ahimaaz in Naphtali, and he tooke Basmath the daughter of Salomon to wife:

KJV: Baanah the son of Hushai was in Asher and in Aloth:

Geneva: Baanah the sonne of Hushai in Asher and in Aloth:

KJV: Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar:

Geneva: Iehoshaphat the sonne of Paruah in Issachar.

KJV: Shimei the son of Elah, in Benjamin:

KJV: Geber the son of Uri was in the country of Gilead, in the country of Sihon king of the Amorites, and of Og king of Bashan; and he was the only officer which was in the land.

Geneva: Geber the sonne of Vri in the countrey of Gilead, the land of Sihon King of the Amorites, and of Og King of Bashan, and was officer alone in the land.

KJV: Judah and Israel were many, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry.

Geneva: Iudah and Israel were many, as the sand of the sea in number, eating, drinking, and making merry.

KJV: And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.

Geneva: And Salomon reigned ouer all kingdomes, from the Riuer vnto the lande of the Philistims, and vnto the border of Egypt, and they brought presents, & serued Salomon all the dayes of his life.

KJV: And Solomon’s provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and threescore measures of meal,

Geneva: And Salomons vitailes for one day were thirtie measures of fine floure, and threescore measures of meale:

KJV: Ten fat oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and an hundred sheep, beside harts, and roebucks, and fallowdeer, and fatted fowl.

KJV: For he had dominion over all the region on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side the river: and he had peace on all sides round about him.

Geneva: For he ruled in all the region on the other side of the Riuer, from Tiphsah euen vnto Azzah, ouer all the Kings on the other side the Riuer: and he had peace round about him on euery side.

KJV: And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.

Geneva: And Iudah and Israel dwelt without feare, euery man vnder his vine, and vnder his fig tree, from Dan, euen to Beer-sheba, all the dayes of Salomon.

KJV: And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.

Geneva: And Salomon had fourtie thousande stalles of horses for his charets, and twelue thousand horsemen.

KJV: And those officers provided victual for king Solomon, and for all that came unto king Solomon’s table, every man in his month: they lacked nothing.

Geneva: And these officers prouided vitaile for king Salomon, and for all that came to King Salomons table, euery man his moneth, and they suffred to lacke nothing.

KJV: Barley also and straw for the horses and dromedaries brought they unto the place where the officers were, every man according to his charge.

Geneva: Barley also and strawe for the horses and mules brought they vnto the place where the officers were, euery man according to his charge.

KJV: And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore.

Geneva: And God gaue Salomon wisdome and vnderstanding exceeding much, & a large heart, euen as the sand that is on the sea shore,

KJV: And Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt.

Geneva: And Salomons wisdome excelled the wisedome of all the children of the East and all the wisedome of Egypt.

KJV: For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about.

Geneva: For he was wiser then any man: yea, then were Ethan the Ezrahite, the Heman, then Chalcol, then Darda the sonnes of Mahol: and he was famous throughout all nations round about.

KJV: And he spake three thousand proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five.

Geneva: And Salomon spake three thousand prouerbs: and his songs were a thousand and fiue.

KJV: And he spake of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall: he spake also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes.
