Nehemiah 13:13
←Back to VersesAnd I made treasurers over the treasuries, Shelemiah the priest, and Zadok the scribe, and of the Levites, Pedaiah: and next to them was Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son of Mattaniah: for they were counted faithful, and their office was to distribute unto their brethren.
I put people in charge of treasures, like Shelemiah the priest, Zadok the writer, and Pedaiah from the Levites group. Hanan, son of Zaccur and Mattaniah, was also there because they were trustworthy. Their job was to give money to their fellow workers.
