Genesis 31:31
←Back to VersesAnd Jacob answered and said to Laban, Because I was afraid: for I said, Peradventure thou wouldest take by force thy daughters from me.
Jacob explained to Laban that he acted this way because he was scared, worrying that Laban might try to take his wives (daughters) back by using force.
