Ezra 5:5
←Back to VersesBut the eye of their God was upon the elders of the Jews, that they could not cause them to cease, till the matter came to Darius: and then they returned answer by letter concerning this matter.
But God watched over the Jewish leaders, stopping others from harming them. This went on until Darius took charge. Then, the leaders wrote a letter explaining the situation.
