Ecclesiastes 8:8
←Back to VersesThere is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.
No person can control someone's spirit after they die. On the day someone dies, nobody has power. There's no escape from this fight, and being wicked won't save those who constantly do bad things.
